Secure Socket Layler (SSL) Certficates

4BusinessHosting offers support for all SSL certificates, however, we resell RapidSSL Certificates ourselves. We've found that these are the quickest and simplest SSL certificates to get issued and to install, we get these issued within minutes of placing the order. We do offer free shared SSL but due to many reason we highly recommend our clients purchase their own SSL. Clients opting to use a shared SSL will have a secure path that looks something like https://secure.4businesshosting.com/yourdomainname whereas clients with their own SSL certificate's secure path will look something like https://www.yourdomainname.com.
If you decide to purchase your own SSL certificate please note that we do charge a $35.00 fee for the labor involved in creating the CSR file required by the issuers and then importing the SSL key file into your site and configuring your site to use the certificate.
To purchase an SSL certificate from us simply login to the hosting control panel, click on the Packages Icon, then on the domain name you wish to add the certificate to, then click on the Extra Features Icon and choose the SSL Certificate Purchase option. Once you have done that go back to the control panel's main page and click on the Billing Icon and Make Payment on your purchase and we will get your certificate ordered and installed. If you are purchasing your SSL certificate someplace else please follow the above steps but when choosing the Extra Feature choose SSL Certificate Installation instead.
